Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 7, 2026  ·  App: AceSlice  ·  Bundle ID: com.aceslice.app

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AceSlice mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by AceSlice Platform ("AceSlice", "we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian review these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aceslice.org if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, bans, or free-trial restrictions is a violation of these Terms and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.

3. User Conduct & Community Standards

AceSlice is a community built on trust between players, coaches, and clubs who often meet in person. By using the Service, you agree to:

Repeated no-shows, harassment reports, or safety concerns may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban at AceSlice's discretion, with or without prior notice where safety is at risk.

4. Chat, Moderation & Prohibited Content

AceSlice provides in-app messaging between players, coaches, and clubs. The following applies to all content you send or share through the Service:

Prohibited content

How moderation works

Photos shared in chat are automatically scanned for inappropriate content before they become visible to the recipient; flagged images are removed and never delivered. Text messages are subject to length limits enforced server-side. Any user can report a message or block another user directly from the chat screen — reports are reviewed by our team, and blocked users cannot message each other in either direction.

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this section, without a refund of any premium subscription time already used.

5. Coach & Club Verification

Coaches

Coaches may submit credentials (certifications, ID, experience) for review. A "Verified Coach" badge indicates AceSlice has reviewed the submitted materials — it is not a guarantee of coaching quality, a background check, or a professional license verification with any external certifying body.

Clubs & Venues

Clubs submit venue details (name, address, court count, contact person) through our onboarding form for manual review before a listing goes live. Listing a venue on AceSlice does not constitute AceSlice's endorsement, inspection, or certification of the venue's safety, condition, or compliance with local regulations.

6. Court Bookings, Cancellations & Refunds

Court and lesson bookings made through AceSlice are scheduling arrangements between you and the club or coach. Payment for court time or lessons is handled directly between you and the club or coach, outside the app — AceSlice does not process, hold, or refund these payments.

Cancellation policy

Notice givenTypical outcome
24+ hours before the sessionCancel freely in-app; no penalty to your account standing
Less than 24 hours beforeMarked as a late cancellation; the club or coach's own policy on fees applies directly between you and them
No-show (no cancellation)Can be flagged by the other party; repeated no-shows affect your reliability score and may restrict future bookings

Because AceSlice does not process court or lesson payment, refunds for missed sessions, cancellations, or disputes about payment are between you and the club or coach directly. AceSlice can assist by providing booking records but cannot issue a refund on a club or coach's behalf.

Clubs and coaches are expected to publish their own cancellation and refund terms to players before a booking is confirmed, and to honor them.

7. Premium Subscriptions

AceSlice offers optional premium subscription tiers purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed via RevenueCat. See Privacy Policy § 6 for how payment data is handled — AceSlice never receives your card details.

8. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of the content you post (profile information, photos, messages, reviews). By posting content, you grant AceSlice a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating it (e.g., showing your profile to other users).

You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that it does not infringe a third party's rights.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AceSlice does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information (including coach credentials or club listings), the availability of the Service, or the outcome of any match, lesson, or booking.

AceSlice facilitates connections between players, coaches, and clubs but is not a party to the in-person activities that result. You assume all risk associated with meeting other users and participating in physical activity. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AceSlice is not liable for injuries, disputes, or losses arising from interactions or transactions between users.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, at our discretion, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts of Istanbul, Turkey have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.

This does not limit any additional, non-waivable rights you have under the law of your own country of residence — including under the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK users) or KVKK (Turkish users) — where local consumer-protection law requires disputes to be heard in your home jurisdiction instead.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
